To create perfect artefacts you must first research the science 'Alchemy'.

1. Impact of improved artefacts
Perfect artefacts have additional properties, depending on the slot they occupy.
There are 9 kinds of additional properties - the number of slots available on the doll character.
Perfect artefacts do not cease to be part of the sets and do not lose their current properties.

2. The strength of the impact of improved artefacts
The strength of each additional property depends on the level of the artifact. Total 5 levels of additional properties.

3. A consolidated list of available additional properties
Depending on the type and level of the artifact, the improvement gets the following :
Fingers (ring): attack magic towers +5% / +10% / +15% / +20% / +25%
Feet (boots): duration of incoming attacks +15% / +25% / +50% / +100% / +150%
Head (helmet): attack towers +25% / +50% / +100% / +150% / +200% and increase mission slots +1 / +3 / +5 / +9 / +15
Neck (amulets / charms): the chance to find a magic item in ruin +25% / +50% / +100% / +150% / +200%
Shoulder (backpack): experience in the battle against race monsters +50% / +100% / +150% / +200% / +300%
Belt: Capacity belt hero +3 / +6 / +9 / +12 / +15 Item
Chest (armor): improving the efficiency forts +50% / +100% / +150% / +200% / +250% and the health of all troops +3% / +6% / +9% / +12% / + 15%
The left hand (shield): attack all troops +3% / +6% / +9% / +12% / +15%
Right hand (swords / staves / bows): attack value enemy mercenaries -3% / -6% / -9% / -12% / -15% and increase the Maximum Defence +1 / +2 / +3 / +4 / + 5

4. The cost of creating perfect artefacts

To create the perfect artifact you must be sacrifice on the Altar (located inside the Vault building) any two artefacts of the same level, not inlcuding the one to be upgraded, plus a scroll of the same level, as well as a number of crystals.
The number of crystals needed for the improvement depends on the level of the artifact (and is independent of the slot it occupies).
As of 23.08.2012, the improvement of artefacts requires the following number of crystals:
artifact level 1 - 3 red, 2 blue, 3 purple;
artifact level 2 - 3 red, 5 green, 3 blue, 5 yellow, 3 purple;
artifact level 3 - 7 red, 4 green, 5 blue, 4 yellow, 7 purple;
artifact level 4 - 5 red, 8 green, 5 blue, 8 yellow, 8 purple;
artifact level 5 - 7 red, 6 green, 8 blue, 8 yellow, 9 purple;

Perfect artefacts will be of higher value when sold back to the trader than their normal counterparts.

Head gear lvl 3 has also a bonus of missions control + 5.
I don't know what the other lvls have.

Yeah I havent updated this for a while.

Head gear missions are +1/+3/+5/+9/+15 I think. Need to confirm as I havent seen a lvl 5, and only remember level 4 as +9!

Thanks for the additional info.
I always have a tab opened to get fast and easy acces to your information pages.
I find the ones on perfection and the pricelist of artefacts very helpfull.

I noticed that perfected chest artefacts also add health, a lvl 2 does +6%.

Yeah - sorry been a bit slack updating this.

Changes made - helmet added increase mission slots +1 / +3 / +5 / +9 / +15
armour added health of all troops +3% / +6% / +9% / +12% / + 15%
