Hi All,

My clan and I are surrounded by a very large clan with all lvl 5 players. They have been level 5 players for much longer than we have and consequently have enourmous armies. For example 80000-25000-23000-22000-20000-11000-100000-10000, plus there Heroes.

There have been a number of instances in my clan that as soon as a player reaches lvl 5 they are attacked to such an extent that they loose there level five and go back to level four. If this happened once it would not be a problem. But it has happened to the same player, three times. And other players as well.

Even having ancient protection has no effect. In fact, it makes a good target. With an army the size of the one above, you can attack an ancients protected city and loose no troops. Add a hero onto that and the rewards are very appealing.

So the spells and protections do nothing to help new lvl 5 players. It gives them no chance to build up.

We can't keep our cities on lock-down indefinitely. Nor can we take the offensive. As our clans summed army doesn't even come close to the size of the one above. Should our clan (with extra allies) launch an attack on but one of that players cities, we could be a) be wiped out in the attempt and b) face reprisals from their clan.

We cannot keep playing like this. We can't launch any missions, participate in tournaments or launch attacks against ruins.

In light of all these occurances, would it be possible to consider increasing the number of ranks above level 5? If players have been level 5 for two months, they can wipe out other players who have only just arrived. Perhaps, if they increased the number of ranks above level 5, but allowed them to attack level 5 ruins or something, it would protect the new level 5 players more and allow us to enjoy the game.

you could always have a limit to size of army :) huge but ... could also help..

More ranks would be a good idea, but it has been mentioned and dismissed before (on the main russian forums, thanks google translate :) ) It's a fatal flaw in the game tbh, once someone gets ahead they stay ahead. Some experience russian players came to this server and basically took over before anyone even started playing properly, and that was game over. You can either all hover at level 4 and feed of scraps, live in fear of opening the city gates, or move all of your clan to a less busy area of the map. Which still doesnt guarantee peace as the range of the spies at top level is immense. I'm in exactly the same position, probably from the same clan, and I'm just going to cash in my bg's and not pay a penny more, because all that does is go into their pockets.

I think the ranks need stretching in points at least.

An Idea i Had is.

Lets just say its 60million to rank1 and 150 million to rank 2

make it so at 140 million you cannot anymore attack your rank 1 players, you can only attack rank 2 up.. meaning you can attack rank 2 ruins and still farm or build army and resources.

you rank at 150million and until you hit 160million rank 2 players cannot attack you


so its like a buffer zone between ranks.. making it known you need to focus on building up your troops, your not getting any low easy targets..

however you are immune from your new rank for short period..

It's ridiculous, their army is so big that it took out army of the ancients + an army with only 10% troops and had no loses, something needs fixing there is just no chance of competeing

proposal:
above 4* player cannot attack any other player if his total rating exceeds other player's rating two times
unless this player is attacked by that lower rank player (so revenge is permitted immediately during attack and within next 24 hours if battle occurs)
this limitation does not apply to external domains only to cities, as it is now
rating limit by two times is just my feeling - admins may calculate more precise when player's are considered equvivalent (might be 3 times to give realistic chance to destroy the army) Basically 2 players combined should be able to destroy single player within the rating limits.

not much hope that this will be implemented but to my mind this will bring at least some balance in the game allowing competition between equvivalent players

otherwise looking at the rating table and reports from these unbeatable armies and heroes with artefacts it seems that all other 5* players not belonging to top clan can simply delete accounts since there is no chance for them to survive or even show some notable resistance

i think the revenge time should eb 3 days though (72hrs)

Stephanie, I quite understand.
I developed a char thinking I had friends around me then suddenly at lvl 3* whammy - another lvl 3* hit me when he was close to 4*

My armies were just returning from assisting a clan mate when this guy picked his time carefully and hit my reduced armies and knocked them out.

I decided on a policy change.
I don't know if this will help you - I doubt it, but it's maybe worth trying to stop these people that don't like to fight fair (though mine was fairer than yours - and I credit my attacker with good timing).

Keep your army at zero.
Stupid huh?
Use the time to build your city defence, houses (for army personnel), counterspies (attackers are less confident when they can't see what they are up against) and develop your sciences. This way the trap is set a little more in your favour.
You can stay at lvl 1,2,3,4 for a very long time as you build up, and you can up your forces training time when the moment is right in the specialist science skills.

It's a thought. Hope it helps.
