20 slow attacks and increasing. All from the corners of the map.
They have zero intention of attacking.

Proofstriker is full of multiboxers. None of these accounts are used for anything other than spamming or exploring.
Bunch of children
Ridiculous

Admin won't do anything
I wish the players on the server could team up and police things like this.

Simple: Change the rules
Allow slows, do NOT allow spamming slows.
Clear difference between the two

spamming slows is harassment, not strategy. It should not be allowed

I am sure something can be done about this...Below are a few suggestions...
1. Increase the limit of temple points from 500 to 600 - This will help defend against more players.
2. Limit the number of simultaneous attacks - No more than 6 or 8 clan members can attack a domain at the same time. Could be actual could be spam. Both get counted.

I have seen many posts in the forum about the need for a balance in this game. Yes we need balance in the game. There are two parts Attack and Defense - The balance is disturbed because there is no limit to attack value, but there is a limit to defense value. There is no limit on number of troops that can be trained, but there is a limit on number of defensive buildings that one can build.

both of tejas ideas are good and first time i have heard them before, so nice to see something new brought to the table.
something I have seen before and also think should be implemented is If a player of lower star rank than you, attacks you should be able to attack them back for a certain amount of time ( one week for instance) would cut back on liklness to have a low level player attack much larger players

Would be helpful if I could attack the lower level spams....But those accounts are garbage. They don't care if they get smashed up or not. They are only there to spam, or explore for the main accounts.

Adding in a definition for what is considered "spam" and banning it I think is the only way.

If a player puts a slow of 6 plus hours on you he shouldn't be able to close the gate until he cancels it or it hits. Something like that might work

It sounds lame to some, but within the gameplay and rules -- it is sort of a battle strategy.
.:It disorients and puts the target on edge/alarm.
:.It makes it tough to keep track of new attacks launched among otherwise making the mission log a mess.
.:It also keeps players from templing their names -- which I believe is a legit strategy after contemplation, because it is also a very long heads-up that this player can start aggression to you at anytime.
:.It plays right in line with the rule where you can't temple a name you just hit -- so spams can backfire when players don't watch them and let them land.


This of course does not apply to the smaller ranks spamming higher ranks, but it is just part of the current honor system and makes sense to me.

We are discussing 3* and 4* player spams here - Not from the big players...
No one is ruling out the strategic angle to slow attacks...It can be disturbing / unsettling in more ways than you have mentioned...

The difference is the 5* player is likely to attack and the 3 and 4* players are not...
Irritating someone is not strategy...

If 3-4* "not going to attack" then why does it matter? Just ignore it all then. It means nothing right?
Your point is glass.
Your 3-4* "irritation" is not the main concern of game creators.

TejasPatel I see you complain more about trivial things in this game than anyone else, it almost makes me think you should play Farmville instead or some other game that wildly caters to your needs.

Out of 4 players who have commented three are in agreement and you are not - That means I am not alone, if it all you are the odd one out...

Ignore you say? The comments in this forum do not affect the game play, yet you feel compelled to share your ignorance and then you suggest that others should ignore something which affects their game play, you do make a fine example of hypocrisy...

Off topic, but I really do need to ask this question - were you dropped on your head a lot as a child...?

PS: FarmVille is a good game - I do play with my nieces and nephews as neighbors...You should try playing it, perhaps you will learn a thing or two about being nice to people...The disclaimer I would like to add here is that not everyone can learn...So don't feel disappointed if things don't go your way...

the reason the talk about disallowing a level3,4 to place slows on players was brought up, is because as i'm sure you know with you having long expirence in game if a player is under 2 hours of attack you can't change your arts or cast spells on that domain. which is completely fine if a suzerain does it because they do have the ability to attack or to be attacked so it's a fair strategy to dislodge defending player from a proper defensive verses the real attacker. i'm sure we all agree on the above problem is below

but when a 4 star and under does it repeadtly, as a suzerain whats your defence to ethier temple a player that has no ability to attack and win against you or to just never cast spells or change artifacts anymore which is obviously not a real solution. so all that leaves is wasting temple points on not real players

while writing this I thought of another solution to problem what if players of lower levels attack you they still will make your display red from a attack but it does not stop you from being able to cast spells or change artifacts all it does is doesn't allow quick closing of gates?

Come to think of red display - The clan head and the war minister would be the most affected...to keep track of 40-50 missions is not easy...If such spams are there on more than one player at a time we are looking at tracking over 100 such missions...

Yes thanks Tejas. That was the reason why I posted originally.
I've been a leader for over 4 years now with almost no breaks. My missions are red almost 24/7.
Their is a clear difference in slows sent as strategy and slows sent as spam.

Demonic is correct it can be used as an effective strategy to prevent you from using spells and changing artifacts. Good clans now do it with their multis after casting army cost increase, and resources plunder increase spells. That way you can't caste counterspell. Eats away at your resources pretty quick. Not a whole lot you can do about it.

While its fair for a 5* enemy player to put the slows on you, it is not fair for a 1* to 4* to do this. They have zero intention of attacking and are not even real accounts. YES I understand that they cannot be caught for multiboxing, but that doesn't change the fact that they are. Change the rules and take away their power and then they will lose their purpose. Will make things fair again.

I found that my input was relevant devil's-advocate play and though my opinion differs from yours, you seemed to "shut me out" and disregard my opinion over your own simply because a few people responded with a similar feeling.
I too feel there are issues with spamming, but have a more "that's the nature of it" attitude. When you begin to limit this action, problems arise. The key is because you are allowed to attack across the map with your whole army if you want and any restrictions on this would require awkward and bulky rulings.

If a 1* to 4 * puts slows on you, you can still cast spells and change artifacts.

Simple solution and fair

It is a good start, but I think it wouldn't change anything as if they just get one suzerain to fulfill the "block" of artifacts and spells then it's basically the same right? Still 30 spams on you with a suzerain attack spaced every 2 hours

Again I'm just playing devil's advocate.

@Sliph: Both Demonic and NightChill agree with me...I think you missed that point...time and again...The complains have led to possible solutions.
1. Allow 5* players to hit back, if they attack you.
2. Allow players to change artifact / cast spell if the attack is from a low ranking player.

There is nothing that you have shared that led to these options. You can complain as much as you like about what others think...But that does not make your comments constructive to a discussion...

The difference is you can actually attack a 5* for spamming you. OR you can spam him back.
Normally this will piss off the war min and leader. Starts a discussion and they sometimes stop their player from doing it.

So it should make a difference.
Even if its not a big one, a little change would be welcome
