It was a dark, stormy evening, the kind where even seasoned warriors grow quiet without realizing it. Lightning tore across the sky, thunder rolled over the земли, and the river below my window churned under the wind like something alive. Yet in my lands there was no panic, only preparation. My army stood ready beyond the fortress walls, shields raised, banners snapping in the wind, armor flashing whenever lightning split the sky. The cavalry horses stamped and snorted, restless with anticipation. Archers calmly checked their bows. Mages stood apart in focused silence, whispering spells under their breath. Behind them, the healers prepared their tools with quiet determination. Everyone knew something was coming. We were waiting for the Sacred Grail, knowing it could appear at any moment and that every lord in the realm was watching. But that night turned out differently.
A courier arrived in a desperate rush, drenched from the storm, barely able to stand yet refusing to fall. He carried a message from my ally, Semtex, a noble by blood and a warrior by nature. His scouts had discovered something serious. Near his kingdom, Archiruins Level 7 had awakened. Not merely ancient ruins, but something hostile and unnatural. The air there itself was said to feel wrong, heavy with ancient malice, and the place was filled with monsters. Yet within danger there was opportunity. The ruins were surrounded by dense forest, allowing us to approach unseen, and most importantly, their leader, the hero monster, was absent, somewhere deep in the rear. That single detail changed everything. I did not hesitate.
Orders were issued instantly. War horns echoed across my lands, gates opened, units mobilized with practiced precision, commanders shouting sharp commands into the storm. Within a short time, one million troops stood assembled. Cavalry at the front, fast and devastating. Archers behind them. Mages gathering destructive energy. Healers forming the silent backbone of survival. We moved without torches, letting the storm conceal us and the forest hide our movement. Branches scraped against armor, mud dragged at boots, and no one spoke. Every soldier understood the plan.
When we reached the ruins, Semtex was already there. No speeches were needed, just a glance. Then we attacked. The cavalry surged forward first, their charge crashing into the enemy ranks before the monsters could react properly. Without their leader, the creatures were disorganized, but far from weak. They fought like beasts driven by instinct. Some were massive, covered in jagged bone armor. Others were fast and low, moving through shadows with unnatural speed. Their roars filled the battlefield as they threw themselves into the fight.
"Forward, break them!" the commanders shouted. "Hold the line, do not let them regroup!"
Arrows filled the air in deadly waves, striking deep into the enemy ranks. Some monsters fell instantly. Others tore arrows from their bodies and kept advancing. Then the magic struck. Fire spread across groups of enemies, clinging to them as they howled in rage. Ice froze others mid charge, leaving them to shatter under the next удар. Lightning cut through multiple targets at once.
The monsters did not fight blindly. Some burrowed through the ground and attacked from below, dragging soldiers down. Others climbed over ruins and struck from behind. Large creatures moved forward like living shields while smaller ones regrouped behind them. They were aggressive, chaotic, but not without instinctive tactics.
That is where our plan worked. On my signal, Semtex sent forces through the forest to cut off retreat paths. At the same time, my mages created illusions of another army approaching. The monsters became confused. Thinking they were surrounded, they began to fall back, but straight into our trap.
"They are breaking, press them!" the call spread.
Cavalry split their formations and attacked from different angles. Infantry locked the enemy in close combat. Steel met claws, shields cracked under pressure, the ground turned into mud mixed with blood. Some monsters tried to flee. Others fought to the end. A few attempted to push through in groups, but each time they were stopped.
By dawn, it was over.
The Archiruins were ours. The place was devastated, towers collapsed, gates destroyed, the ground marked by battle. But inside we found what we came for. Twenty thousand black pearls. A massive reward. We divided them evenly without argument. It was a shared victory. I also found an artifact, a pair of ancient enchanted bracers that weakened attacks from cursed creatures. I took them without hesitation.
When we returned, the city was already alive with rumors. People filled the streets, cheering, shouting, some even crying. Children ran alongside the soldiers. Elders bowed their heads. We were welcomed as victors. Gifts were brought to us, gold, jewels, offerings of gratitude. But none of it would remain unused.
The black pearls changed everything. We reinforced our defenses, expanded barracks, improved magical structures, strengthened training. With these resources, I completed many important quests and increased my influence. Soon after, I invited three new heroes into my castles, each bringing new strength and strategy. Our army became stronger. The kingdom became more stable.
But this is not the end. The hero monster is still out there. Somewhere he is gathering what remains of his forces and building a new army of darkness. I have already captured several of his kind and locked them in my dungeons. I questioned them, pressured them, pushed them to their limits, but neither torture nor persuasion made them reveal his location or the place where his new forces gather.
So the hunt continues. Scouts move through forests, ruins, and forgotten lands. Every lead is followed. Every shadow is watched. I will find him.
And when I do, there will be no second chance for him.
The hunt has already begun.

Re: my great war!
I tried to expand the story, I’d be grateful for the reward
Also, could you maybe tweak the Legionnaire’s Boots a bit?
Happy Easter (if you follow the Eastern Christian tradition)!

Good afternoon, I have significantly expanded the story once again.
