2a2axxxx and tendeus vs Level 7 Ruin

#1 Post by tendeus »

Dear kings and queens! I found that the rumours in the tavern was faster than my words! But I'll tell you the story anyway! Sit back, close your eyes, and come relive the story with me.

Once upon a time, I lived my life in the demon kingdom. My friends talked of mythical Level 7 Ruins, I told myself I would never see such a thing in real life. But suddenly my Explorer brought me incredible news! "I found it! I've found a Ruin of level 7!". I couldn't believe my ears! Me? Was I really that lucky or was I just dreaming?

I immediately entered the kingdom and saw it. I saw the Level 7 Ruin! It was only 1 kingdom away. No one knew about it, no one had seen it. I knew I wouldn't stand a chance against it alone, so I immediately informed my clanmates. I received an express reply quickly. My teammate, brave 2a2axxxx, vowed that we should destroy it as soon as possible before it caused any damage to the kingdom. "Come on!", he said, "We have to destroy it quickly!". I knew that with him, that Ruin wouldn't stand a chance. So we immediately set out on the hunt. The journey was long and thorny, but we made it, we got to the Ruin. From afar, our troops could smell the scent of monsters and that spurred them into battle.

The troops couldn't wait to send those nasty monsters to hell. The blood began to boil, the undead army began to shake with excitement, bones rattled, and dead breath began to spread over a kingdom. The monsters must have felt it too, and that's why they wanted to prepare for us, even though they must have suspected that they didn't stand a chance against the undead army. Our heroines cried out in a mighty voice: "Tooo baaattleee!".

The warriors began to flee to the gates of the ruin, the archers fired arrows that should have killed at least a quarter of the enemy, but they were prepared for the army they were about to face, so they hid themselves so that the arrows would not hit them. We did not lose a single soldier on the fortifications.

As soon as we approached the gates of the ruin, the monsters attacked us from every side. The magical power of the artifacts of our heroines increased the attack of our troops, boosted the life energy of our army and also the defense. The powerful enchantments have also extremely weakened the monster army. Although our army only consisted of warriors and archers, the quantity of our army was devastating!

We saw the army rushing at us. However, the monsters lacked a hero! When we found out that he wasn't there, we felt relieved because their army had no magical artifact abilities, no heroic spells, no enhancements . Despite our joy at the absence of the monster hero, we were not prematurely happy about the win. After all, you never know how a fight will turn out before it's over. Their army consisted of Giant Collectors in front, Iron Golems behind them, War Orcs on either side. We thought it was an entire army, but suddenly the sky went black, Fiery Gargoyles flooded the sky, then Fire Spirits attacked our archers and healers from behind. It didn't look very good. Fiery Gargoyles flew down on our troops, grabbing thousands of soldiers in their clutches and carrying them back up into the sky where they dropped them from a great height. They repeated this a couple of times before our archers shot them out of the sky one by one. Their Poisonous Needlesaurs, deployed on fortifications and in the rear, fired thousands of their spikes at our army when we were already in the distance. Most of them were only fired as warning spikes, as they did not hit us, they were only meant to show us that we were not welcome in their territory, but we made it to the ramparts where they fired a volley of poisonous spikes at us from their tails. Some of them jumped among our soldiers, and inflicted little loss on us, for they had armoured bodies which made it difficult to kill them, but we found their weakness and destroyed them. The Great Snakelegs were strategically placed on the ramparts and in the city, those on the ramparts used their magic to weaken our army, the Great Snakelegs stationed in the city were responsible for protecting each area. They chose their spells carefully to be able to withstand our attacks. However, their magical energy was gradually running out and they didn't have enough against our superiority. After defending for a long time, they were no longer able to use magical rituals, and the mash attacks broke through the magical barriers. Their Hell Witches were in the rear, summoning powerful spells that remotely healed their wounded. They were also firing not powerful but effective magical projectiles at our troops. However, our heroines sent some brave soldiers to fight their way through the enemy and reach the Hell Witches. So the fight was quick despite the monster's surprise attack. Who knows where he was, maybe he was afraid of the undead army, I can't tell you. But those monsters didn't stand a chance against us, we destroyed them, they didn't even cause us a hundredth of an army loss. Such joy! In the end, we won right after the first round!

Since we had such small losses, reviving was no problem. The healers revived all the fallen soldiers with blessing of undead gods.

Thanks to necromancy, we increased our armies with more units of fallen monsters and we grew stronger again.

After the battle, we have searched ruins and found a magic item "Scroll March Spies [level 5]" in the rubble, which summons 300 spies.
