The dream became reality

That morning in early December, an explorer from the Feudal Sovereign Bavuong belonging to the Resident Clan was checking the lands to the North West.
The day was hot and muggy, he was following a path up the hill when he thought he heard voices and noises beyond the top.
He dismounted from his horse, tied it to a tree and continued on foot so as not to make any noise. Once at the top, hidden by the vegetation,
he saw what every warrior feared to see. In the valley below, among old ruins, a huge army of monsters prepared weapons and war machines to attack
anyone they found in their path.
The man crawled through the tall grass retracing his steps, took his horse and galloped towards the city to warn his Lord.
They saw him coming from the stands and blew the horn twice to warn them to open the doors for the returning Explorer.
Ruler Bavuong went down to the courtyard to find out what news he brought.
The breathless man said what he had seen, Bavuong understood from that report that he could not compete alone against the might of the monster army
and immediately sent a messenger to his clanmate Assol2018.
Preparations had been underway for days now, the army gathered and the decision was made, it was time to leave... it was time for war, Assol2018 and Bavuong
at the head of the troops headed towards the enemy.
Having reached the top of the hill which dominated the valley, they began to deploy their forces... they knew they were facing a fearsome enemy... but no one,
I mean no one, had the slightest hesitation, everyone was determined.
The Mercenaries who had been hired arrived from the south-west and began to deploy... In the front line the army of infantry and cavalry, in the second line the Mercenaries...
The two Sovereigns made a reconnaissance tour to check the deployment of the army.
Now everything was ready... the enemy in front of them... hell behind them.
There was the first assault, upon impact with the enemy, the monsters gave up little ground, but inflicted many losses on the army.... Assol2018 led the cavalry charge,
infiltrating the ruins, while Bavuong, at the head of the archers and infantry consolidated the conquered ground...
At the second assault, despite many more casualties among the attackers, gaps were created in the ranks of the monsters... Assol2018, with what remained of the cavalry,
outflanked the monster troops towards the west. Bavuong followed by the infantrymen opened a gap in the center ...
With the third assault, with the cry of "Victory or death", the enemy lines gave way, the survivors fleeing, leaving the dead and wounded piled on top of each other on the ground.
The army loudly cheered the two Leaders who had led them to victory... ten days of celebrations followed in the cities of the kingdoms of the RESIDENT Clan.

It was evening... the dark stones of the Ruins illuminated by torches seemed to exude water, they were so shiny... Our land in the hands of the enemy was before us...
A biting cold and a hostile atmosphere surrounded us... A subtle fear gripped us.. but no one showed it.. each with their own thoughts awaited the signal..
He arrived and in unison we heard the sound of the swords automatically releasing their sheaths.. Everything was ready.. and when the Knight in front of me moved..
all I did was trigger my steed...
