If anyone's looking for an apprentice, I'm more than happy to be one. I pick things up pretty easily and don't really ask that many questions since there's a lot of info on the Wiki as it is.
I don't know if I can still get a mentor, since my old one ditched me for whatever reason, but if it's possible I'd like one before the quest ends since it's been initiated now.
Anyway, thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this.

Have you upgraded your main building to level 5? If so, you cannot get a new mentor. Your old mentor got his first reward once that happened and alot decide to ditch their apprentices after that.

-Sigh- Yeah I upgraded it. I wish I knew that before... Oh well.
Thank you kingkano for the reply. ^_^
'Though just out of curiosity, what reward is it that they get from it?

500 science pts per hour for 1 week.
Unfortunately the way the mentor system has been setup, mentors get that reward quite quickly (at level 5 main building) - then its a long wait for much else. There is only 4 other rewards for mentors and they are all at the other end when apprentices reach 5*, kill a 5* ruin etc. Many mentors don't stick that out (it is months afterall). Having said that, I've had about 25 apprentices and they all quit within a month or so - so I cannot blame them in some ways.
They system needs to be examined and more rewards added for mentors so they keep their apprentices on longer and are more active in educating them in the game
