The ability to copy and paste from messages in the game

This may just be a personal desire, as I'm a social wotsit, and I don't know how many other players are.

I would love the ability to be able to type my in-game private messages into my word processor, and save them on my computer. This is far easier to work with than the in-game limits, particularly when you are talking with a lot of people. Similarly I would love to be able to copy a message someone has sent me, and past it into my word processor outside the game.

At the moment, whilst copy (allegedly) works via the flash plugin, it simply causes the game to hang, and does not copy to the clipboard. Paste has never worked. Could these functions be added please, for a much more comprehensive messaging service?

Interesting. I guess this is those intricacies of flash at work again! I can copy and paste from in game messages out into other programs no problem Thats how I translate the Russian messages I receive into English and back again!

Have you tried another browser? Maybe Firefox - to see if its just your choice of browser and flash interaction preventing it?

Your Firewall can deny interactions between different applications. Try to switch it into "learn" mode before you copy some text next time from the game to clipboard.

That`s great advice - copy from reply. Notice, that Firefox is the best browser for copy past in our game. For some reason opera is the worst one (it can really hang)
