I have a problem with the resource management circle, how does it operate and why are my resources lost, again and again. Thanks..

The resource anager is badly designed, I'm afraid, and hard to get right. You have to click and drag on the segments of the circle, expanding and contracting the amount of warehouse space for each resource. Your resources are lost if they're over the limit, so you need to use the resource wheel in conjunction with the market (and using resources on building/upgrading and on training troops). Building warehouses is important too, of course.
