The story of luck. On one evening...

#1 Post by Ozyr »

"War Councils, battle calculations, campaigns planning... military operations had calmed down recently and routine had become boring..."- Not for the first time, these thoughts visited Ozyr.
Once again, almost all armies and their general - Elena, were away campaigning against the next hero monster, to get crystals. And once again, Ozyr was bored in the castle. Explorers brought report after report, sometimes the mail brought letters from neighbors. The only excitements came from winning market auctions and achieving perfect buildings.

- "Milord! ! !" - The shout carried out booming inside the palace, reaching Ozyr, who started to visualize a scene of hundreds of thousands of poisonous needlesaurs who had somehow appeared under the castle walls.
- "Milord! ! !" - Much closer now, just from behind the doors. One knight from the several hundreds-strong Palace Guard rushed in through an opening. "What happened with their discipline? " thought Ozyr, smiling.

Without saying another word, the knight stumbled over the threshold and fell full length on the ground. Nonplussed, he got up at once:
- "Milord! News from our ally in the East, GloomyHatred! His explorers... They found an Arch-ruin!!!"
The knight's face expressed both delight and fear. However, Ozyr hardly reacted to the news. - "It is excellent news, but what happened to you? You look like there are monsters under the walls!"
"Remember, this is the second time this has happened in our clan. My friends were lucky last time." - the lord said to himself quietly, at the same time thinking "Need to ask them about their 'good luck' secret".
- "I am sorry, sir. But your ally invites you to join in the campaign!"
- "Quite unexpected" thought the Lord.. - "Where was it found?" - before the question was out, the knight continued… "In the mountains to the far east, milord. Your explorers don't visit those lands."
- "Call the Council! ! !" - the lord's voice filled the palace.

- "Show me the location on the map!" - his palms itched with impatience. "The ruin is far, it will take time to get there. Speed is of essence but mistakes cannot be allowed… Hurry, but with caution," Ozyr reminded himself.
- Here:

- "Any report from our spies yet?"
- "due to arrive soon, Sir."

- "Milord - your mercenaries are waiting for orders!"
- "It is their job - to wait for my orders and then to die for me when I tell them to. But they may remain idle a little longer. My remaining army is still strong, besides there will be GloomyHatred's army. Adviser? Are battle calculations ready?" Why is Liliya not here yet? Call her at once! "Untimely i sent almost all my army and the general Elena for that Crystals... But who can predict all?"
- "I'm here, Milord!" - the woman who had entered was sure-footed and radiated confidence. "she is fiercely independent but always responds when really needed … Clever woman!" - He drifted on, lost in thought.
- "Sir, I want to remind you that it is necessary to hurry. Arch ruin - an exceptional case" - The first adviser from court had left the crowd hooting...
- I didn't forget about it, adviser, believe me! Liliya - you take all our remaining army, I know - you are not a warrior, but your ability to accelerate my soldiers will be much needed by us. But I am afraid that this time it will be not enough. Therefore you may use the scroll of speed in the Treasury. Make sure that Gloomy's and our armies arrive first in those mountains. You cat take all troops remaining in my castle and near it."
- As you command, my lord. I am looking forward to an excellent fight!

Once she was gone, all Ozyr could do was wait for the mission's outcome. He issued new decrees and expelled all court and advisers."Who would have thought about it... an arch ruin… unexpectedly found. Fortune is always unexpected though."
The lord remembered glorious stories about the destruction of ruins of the highest level. "Now my name will also be remembered...if nobody outstrips my soldiers!" And he once again demanded reports from Visionaries:

Gloomy's army was closer. His soldiers attacked a bit later.

"Nevertheless, it will be his victory, not mine. But I am immensely grateful to him for the opportunity to participate in the event. After all, it's his third arch ruin! He is ubiquitous!!" Sitting alone in the big hall, Ozyr re-considered the battle plan. He knew that the two armies would merge and fully co-operate in the fight, he knew that everything had to work successfully… All the calculations were right, they were checked many times... But something haunted him deep inside nonetheless.
The hours dragged on… And finally, the court reported that Liliya had sent a bird with a message: Victory!

Guru with army came back at last. "Well done. That will be all for now, stand at ease, all of you."
Ozyr was overflowing with pleasure. But he had to wait for one more hour - until the Guru and her army returned.

The troops of GloomyHatred had already returned. "It's amusing - It's likely that destroying arch ruins has become a bit of a routine for him and he is probably already in bed… =) "

One hour later, Liliya glided into the hall:
- Here is the official report! The Arch ruin is destroyed:

- You made it, My Lord!
- No, Lilya! It is Gloomy's victory first of all. And yours too. I am thankful that you are with me!
It is one more glorious victory for the Hydra clan. Victory for GloomyHatred, me, you, and these soldiers that wait behind a wall for us. Let's go...

Thanks for congratulations... Normal price, bigger, smaller. its not the main aim. First of all - its rare ruin!

Administration answered today, they said
"the story is not good enough, for it`s written in bad English with way too many mistakes. You will have to rewrite it if you want to get the reward."

may be my English is much worser than others, who wrote stories about arch ruins before me and got their rewards =(
Is it truth? I'm so bad writing in English?

Edited:
So bad that anybody can't understand me?

 The quality of the English language does not matter, everybody knows that Ozyr is not British. I personally find the story excellent and well-constructed (the screen shots in particular). More-over it's an excellent general advice on how to destroy arch-ruins. He should get the reward!

No worries, we quite enjoyed it - it's a great story ;)
Admin, I suggest an artefact level 3 for Ozyr, Scoville and myself? :)
