HERO exp on defense

i didn't like HERO experience rating for loosing battle on defense.

My HERO destroyed 400 Million army on defense, lost battle and won 1400 experience, while attacking army destroyed 50 Million of my army and got 43000 experience.

I agree; the game encourages aggression -- and it's hard to see why defending should give less experience than attacking. You'll find that you don't get faction points in defence either -- again, it's hard to see why.

Probably because of Magic Towers which gives lots of defence and also allies can support if nearby. Attacks need to be planned very well as all army can be lost while defender can resurrect quite a lot.

True -- though attackers can join in pairs too; and when the defeder kills troops they stay killed, while the attacker gets points for defenders who are killed but then resurrected...
