Combat!

First of all I want to say 3 things : My english is not very good so sorry for syntaxis , Im a very n00b player in My Lands and im a 40 years old guys with +25 years of strategy MMO playing.

I also want to say that im very impressed with your game, low graphics yes but an excelent gameplay, city construction, map conquest and economy. The black gem hunt and how can it be used to win some real money or invest in upgrade lots of things for a better gem hunt is definitely one of the better choices I guess a developer has made ever.

But im starting to think where is the big fail of the game and we cannot forget this is a strategy game at the heart : COMBAT.

Yes, I know its difficul for sure to do combats where the players are offline but I saw some games that do it right adding strategy and luck while creating a prevention to the big failure of the "bigger stick win".

Its because this I think you need to do an offline combat similar to HOMM series, the AI fights while we are offline in a tactical map where due to our heroes skills we can preapply some formations and/or strategies our hero must use as the AI leader (kill this units first,stay back and defend,protect X unit, attack agressively...). Of course we cannot fight the combat we just see the result in a video or the like.

Thank you. Maybe we will consider your suggestion. However at the moment we don`t feel like further combat features are needed.

An static form of your suggestion is already implemented. Some units have lots of HP, some units have lots of attack, some have bonuses and some don't. You can simply put one kind of units in the sanctuary, to put up an good defence. (and for attacks, you already need to put an army together for just one type of target)
