New mining changes
Because of the dis-balance established in the game by increased mining rates from before, we`ve made the decision to change those rates once again:
- the mining rates of all resources have been decreased by 2 times, those of gold by 3 times;
- the capacity of Mines and Pits has been decreased;
- the amount of wood in ruins level 5 and 6 has been decreased by 15%;
- the amount of iron in ruins level 5 and 6 has been decreased by 5%;
- the amount of stone in ruins level 5 and 6 has been decreased by 10%;
- the amount of resources created by artifacts or hero skills has been increased by 1,5 times.
WHY ?
I and most others really welcomed the previous changes as it made building and keeping a large standing army a lot easier, sure the gold income could have been a bit OTT but why the other res dial backs ?
I don't even wanna go into the fact of how many people decided to spend BG on increasing yields and carrying capacity to go along with the previous change to mining amounts.
Its useless owning any type of mine now other than gold due to the pitiful hourly amounts they produce.
I await your wisdom on why you just decided to alienate most of your players.

Re: New mining changes
that and the fact of even decreasing the ruins resources which are our main source of resourses. that is truly unnacceptable.
the new players will never gonna last... i feel this is becoming a waste of time. and instead of gather some money to withdraw i can see only loads and loads and loads of money that are getting me nowhere if this changes keep occouring -.-

THIS IS COMPLETE CRAP!
Not only did you make the increases without notice, completely shifting the game, now you're unchanging things _AGAIN_ without notice!
I've been spending the whole bloody time since the last update retooling only to have all of that now needing to be undone!
What's wrong with having consultation and notice periods!?!?!?!?

Re: New mining changes
i demand that the administration responde to this, not just come and put the news and then log of, god dammit enought is enought.
1- If it was imbalanced did it took so many time to realize it??? don´t you play the game or do a test before implement a change? if you do and if you see it´s imba why do you make the change then?
2- more insulting then boiling your comunity "like the tale of the frog in the soap pannel"the guys that pay to play this game, is trowing sand at my eyes, what? did the top players that "big secret now guys" belong to the administration had they´re fill with this change and now to further increase the gap betwen the little suzerain and big suzerain demanded the rechange?
3- Really are concerned about the balance and fairness of the game? then LISTEN TO YOUR COMUNITY AND FIX THE SUZERAIN RANK AS DEMANDED IN PREVIOUS POSTS, here´s an ideia, there´s 7 lvl ruin´s why not make 7 lvl´s in total?
4- and this is more important personaly worse then making a game harder,harder and harder as the time goes by ""WITHOUT WARNING" just to continue to squezze BG out of the 90% of the comunity is trying to make me stupid.
regards.

Re: New mining changes
I suppose you guys sulk because you foreseen BGs from auction will not be gained easily by owning gold desert cities which is obvious to all experienced players who don't like to fight.I know even some suzerains can build only trading posts in villages if they make good relationship with their neighbours,but that won't work on me.So I am kind of happy with the new change which sounds fair to me.

Re: New mining changes
The problem I have with these changes is not just about the gold although that is inconvenient, its the other res that has also been reduced and the total lack of any consultation or warning from the devs about this change.Kennoway wrote:I suppose you guys sulk because you foreseen BGs from auction will not be gained easily by owning gold desert cities which is obvious to all experienced players who don't like to fight.I know even some suzerains can build only trading posts in villages if they make good relationship with their neighbours,but that won't work on me.So I am kind of happy with the new change which sounds fair to me.
But then again I imagine your being rank 170 already means your not really hurting for res or gold are you ? so why would you want anyone to be able to grow large enough to challenge you... If as you seem to be saying you want a more pvp biased game then you also need opponents able to climb the ranks quickly enough without having to devote whole cities to gold production just to keep an army paid.
IF the change was to cut down on the amount of BG being bought at the auction then that could have been dialed back in frequency/amount while leaving the gold/res available to players to have a more dynamic and dare I say fun game instead of an interminable slog whilst hiding from other players hoping to jump you at every turn.

This isn´t about who is more strong, or more beautifull or who is more polite, leave that to other kind of thread please. This is about 2 changes that were made in 1 month.
Of course there were/will be players that are furious or happy with the changes, AGAIN thats not the point. The point is this changes are made suddendly and are then remade to the previous ones.
As I said It does not take a genious to see if a change will be imbalanced or not.
And I´m yet to see a dev/admin/mod wathever responde to this!

Re: New mining changes
I thought the new changes in production was a good move. It gave smaller players a chance to build, instead of having to compete for ruins, it solved the problem of how time hungry the game is and it was bringing new strategy to the game.
This the mining server it should be more about that, with the original changes there was a new trading dimension happening in the game too.
But now the managers have changed it again giving small players even less of a chance to get a foothold in the game full of big players who don't spend any money on the game because they can bully all they need from smaller players monopolize the auctions and keep all the lakes
it would also be nice to be told a change is only experimental and it is for a trial period so you don't go adapting to the new formula spending BG's on upgrades of the games design, but the managers don't seem to care much for it's customers once again.

Re: New mining changes
i don't think so,if gold comes so easy to small players,then they mostly will not invest more money in game(quests,artifacts...) to become a big player,they might stay as marshal for the auction victories which would lead to a big issue-no more players spend,no more BGs in game for everyone,uhm...the admins must have an input accouting report for every step of change they have made,and I believe that they change this for greater good although it might casue some inconvenience to some players.ZenZephyr wrote:I thought the new changes in production was a good move. Re: New mining changes
I still don't get why the change for all the other res, as I said previously the gold income may well have caused an imbalance in regards to the BG auctions but that could have been handled with a tweak on gold production or the amount of BG available in the auction itself.Kennoway wrote:i don't think so,if gold comes so easy to small players,then they mostly will not invest more money in game(quests,artifacts...) to become a big player,they might stay as marshal for the auction victories which would lead to a big issue-no more players spend,no more BGs in game for everyone,uhm...the admins must have an input accouting report for every step of change they have made,and I believe that they change this for greater good although it might casue some inconvenience to some players.

Re: New mining changes
You see, the mining rates were increased that much, especially gold, the the game became considerably unbalance, mostly in favor if knights. At some point they were the only ones who could make bids at the auction, which obviously is wrong and made players of other races furious. We had no other choice but to drop the rates. However let it be said, that even dropped, they are still higher than they were before the first upgrade.

Re: New mining changes
If this downgrade is just because of the amounts of knights on the auction, they should have installed some taxes for the knight. For example, if the actual price would be 10.000, knights would have to pay 12.000. (20% taxes in this example) Gold income isn't just only for the auctions...

Where are these players you speak of ?Arbash wrote:You see, the mining rates were increased that much, especially gold, the the game became considerably unbalance, mostly in favor if knights. Where is the discussion that was held on it ?
If I have missed it I apologize but I haven't seen a single word on this on any of the forums.
