Big GUYS vs small ones

#1 Post by DinoFly »

I would make few suggestions:

1 War point of view, people (Suzerians), with 2x army strength points, not to be able to attack smaller ones. Or even if they are able to, they should lose some % of troops and gain no experience or even lose some. Also in the cities to not be able to attack other than defensive structures.

2 Game policy point of view, there should be a option to change the race, at least once in the game, or buy it with BG-se or gold. When I began playing this game I didn't have the smallest clue how the game is played, which race fits to my game play most etc etc.

BTW it is a great game, balanced enough, thought making additional mechanism to help new Suzerians, in my opinion will make it perfect. Great job.

1.There are enough defence tactics in the game to avoid battles vs Stronger players, dont see a point embeding other defence mechanisms.
2.You can always start playing again, when you chosed a race-you dont know what the prize of it and whether you like or not,a bit like lottery, and you always can look at encyclopedia before registering on actual server.

I agree with you about first topic, the tactics that helps you against one big or even two big guys. But often more than two persons will put a mark on you. So if they lose something valuable to them they will not attack you, unless you are doing something really wrong.
Do you really mean what you said about the second topic? About re-rolling or re-joining the server? I agree that we should have checked the encyclopedia, that is what I mentioned on the other thread, but tell me who actually spends a week or two studying first the game and than going on to play it. It is just like the terms of agreement on every free e-mail account that you open, you always check "I agree", but you never actually read it.
Both of them are to help out newcomers to the server.

Thank you for sharing your opinion Chaser.

Well, about the big players attacking small ones-if the small one is smart enough, and knows all the tricks of the game(and believe me there are enough of them to avoid battles and stay safe,in fact i ll say more there are options of defence that give total protection and this is not good) if you really interested, just private text me,whatever you dont understand-i ll explain..

And about races, well, there is no huge diffference,in fact in my opinion there arent any in fact between races and the units bonuses,i ll say elves have slight advantage over others when it goes to salary and keeping army alive...well thats it. :)
