ok once you have been attacked by someone and LOST the battle you can then issue a contract against that player, you get to choose what type of mission to be performed where in the rankings the person taking the contract has to be i.e in the top 100 and the reward for completing the contract

when arranging the contract you get to choose the reward from a random lvl 1 - lvl 5 scroll or a random lvl 1 - lvl 5 artefact depending on what you choose

the rewards do not come from your possesion you have to pay for the reward being offered with BG

when selecting the mission to be performed the contract issuer selects from the following:

army kills: what units and how many to kill

buildings destructions: what domain to attack and what buildings and how many to be destroyed to be succesful

domain seizure: what domain to be seized


then all you need is someone to accept the contract and do the hit for you

i dont claim to know everything and what i have learnt about this is only from experimenting, so i may not be 100% correct but it is the basics

Encyclopaedia entry. Not 100% clear, and there's a chunk of untranslated Russian in the middle, but it gives the basic details and parameters.

just accepted a contract on a lower ranking player. Seems there is no block for higher ranking players to accept those contracts. Since it's building destruction of a city, I'm pretty sure I will fail it by default. There should either be a block same as when trying to attack a lower player, or at least a warning...that or the option to attack lower ranking players (or only the target) as part of the contract
