Fair play?

Ever wondered why barracuda do so well in the flag tournament?? Because they cheat! They cheat by having second accounts lwithevel 3-4 players in a clan called Tauta.

It's sad i know, childish and it spoils the tournament.

How do we stop players have 2-3 accounts??

Maybe a better registration system with photos and questionair would be part the answer, but i think dirty cheating child-like players would still find a way around it.

The other idea would be to change the flag tournament so you can't steal flags, that would make it more fair and worth playing!

If you have any evidence (like a message saying so) or serious reason to believe this, contact the admin with all the info you have. He can cross-check the IPs and playing behaviours of those players.

It's really hard to stop multiboxing once people start using all the tricks in the book. However, I'd not recommend changing the tourney in this fashion since stealing flags and coordinating stuff that revolves around picking up and pooling flags is a big part of the later game.

Also look at it this way.

You have a big account but no subscription, so you can't withdraw money. So you make another account with subscription and give big BG ruins and lakes you find to your second account.

Basically bypassing the rules.

You also use your other account to attack players you don't like maybe as a level 4 or you upgrade your second account hero so you can do joint attacks with yourself.

It's unfair and spoils the game in my opinion.

Any response from the admin???????

Totally agree.
It just makes it unfair for the real players

Well its tough to find cheaters till they login from same IP and same computer. Enough scope for people with lots of spare time to do anything as they wish to do so unless Admin get stricter regarding enforcing of rules where they ban players which are helping each other from same IP but different computers.

the reason for most players getting so many flag sets lies in team work. For example, the whole clan is looking for flags and giving them up to the very same person from the clan who temporarily leaves the clan for the possibility to attack his/her clanmates. This is not forbidden and has nothing to do with multiaccounts.

You are wrong.

There is widespread cheating in this game. This is a game that should be ultra secure with it's registration system because it is a game that involves real money.

Tell me how do you stop 1 player playing from 2 computers from the same location like a lot of sad cheating players do??

You say it is 100% not allowed but how do you enforce it??

And if you cannot or will not enforce it then why don't you make it except-able, seeing as a lot of players are doing it so it is a level playing field?

An idea would be random check of accounts, with a comprehensive questionnaire on who you are and where you are from. If you are found to be cheating with 2 accounts you get your accounts across all servers deleted and banned form playing again.

The problem with laying bare how you stop cheaters is that you risk giving information to exactly the kind of people you're trying to fight. If cheaters now how the security system works, they can figure out a way to bypass it.

But I agree, there seems to be shady stuff going on in some clans. Account-buying and multiboxing are two of the things I've come in contact with. However, with no hard proof I could give the admin other than "this person is different from before" or "this person seems to be online exactly when the other one with the same name of the first one's hero is", there's nothing we can do to help.

It's a grim situation when multiboxing seems so rewarding in this game and nobody's adequately equipped to stop it.

When you say questionnaire, do you mean the same thing I do? As in, a collection of questions you give to players they could easily give false answers to? Then no, I am not in favor of this method.

maybe not just a questionnaire but a phone or Skype call or a verification process the is cross platform that is hard to replicate or cheat

Or what is probably less detectable, 1 player playing from 2 computers that are in different locations. Example - The player plays from his work computer on one account, and plays on a second account when he is at home. This can go on via more places depending how passionate the cheater is -- he could go to a PC Cafe and play a third account from there, and then hop over to another PC Cafe and play a fourth. He can log on at his school perhaps on a fifth account.

If a person wants to do this, there's almost no proof to stop them.

Well admin say they can tell and are investigating accounts, they say there is a pattern and they will also investigate any accounts that players think are suspicious, and if found out then it is a lifetime ban, so all cheats need to think if their second account for flag collecting and cheating is worth getting your main account deleated??

Interesting after these posts barracudas are not doing so well in the tournament?!
