Hello, I think developers should add some restictions for service "Fast close gate", becouse some players hard abuse this service. On this server are many players which didnt open capital for 6 hours more than 2 years.
That is very bad, practically enemies dont have chance to attack their capitals. I think you should put an rule that gate must be open for 6 hours once at week. We need to make good battles, not hiding behind gates. I hope you will consider my idea. Thanks

Should be for all cities...what is stopping a player to build 20 warehouses in a side non capital city

I completely agree with Jagan and Hartous. Maybe increasing the price of fast closing would make it more interesting. For example , when you fast close once it costs 29bg , when you fast close second time in a row it costs double , and everytime you fast close in a row price increases double. And when you stay open for full 6h it resets back to 29bg. Please consider the idea.

I agree with the discussion about fast closing of gates, but I don't think arbitrarily increasing the price is the solution. This will just mean whales and top players will continue the same routine while the rest cannot protect themselves in such ways.
A cooldown where a gate is unable to fast-close with gems is one idea, but it feels rigid. Think something like 24 hours or 48 hours.
Another idea I have is to turn Fast Closing into a science that can be researched, held, and consumed. It would be very similar to City Expansion or Capital Transfer in function. Perhaps it cost ... 50,000 science to charge; depends maybe a lot more or a lot less.
This way science is still important and there's more nuance to how and where a fast-close is coming from.

- You can spy a player and see if their fast-close is ready.
You can consume your fast close and with enough science research per hour it would be possible to rapidly research fast-close to readiness again.
Perhaps there is still a 29 gem requirement to "help alchemists complete the science" each time you consume it.
This keeps science and alchemist labs relevant. Attack labs to reduce enemies' ability to fast-close sort of idea. Build labs to fast-close more frequently.

Better idea is return FACTION WARS where everyones gate need to be open all day and night. It should be global every servers on one map. This was the greatest formula. free participation and the best torunament in this game ever

The Faction War server is a special tournament with unique rules. It isn't the same as the regular game. In Faction war there is also City Destruction which is what it sounds like. Defenses in cities can be targeted and cities can be destroyed if there's no defenses. While this is very flavorful in the faction war tournament, it is not something players want long-term I am sure. Also there are other online games similar to mylands where you can be attacked any time 24/7 and it just makes for a bad game. Players need to be able to go offline in a protected way or else the game is just a constant worry.
That said, of course I still think the fast-closing needs to be reworked, don't forget I support that too.

ok to get a consensus , Global Faction wars should be implemented and nonfast closing gate should be for players >100 000 000 000 ranking suzereins
