In order to diversify the gameplay, we propose to introduce the possibility of changing the terrain. Why wouldn't there be a possibility to turn a mountain into a desert, for example.
Transfer of the capital is actually no longer useful - maybe you could put an option here to choose the terrain change...

Seitdem man die Städte versetzen kann, kann man doch auch das Terrain ändern

It is an interesting idea, however some questions/concerns:
.:Would the terrain be permanently changed? Perhaps it is only while the city that changed the terrain remains; that if the city moves, the terrain will return to whatever it was originally.
If not, then there's concerns that players can change the tileset of entire kingdoms by moving their cities around and terraforming. Perhaps this isn't terrible after all, but just something to consider.
