Few suggestions about bots and bans

Hi,

as a player who stuggles agains cheaters every day, here are a few small suggestions:

1. Substitutes should not act on behalf of banned players. This can even lead to benefits such as opening gates and having protection while science continues, training armies, etc..
2. Be more proactive on anti cheating measures:
- track attacks and insta ban players who start more than 1 attack in 1 second. This should not be humanly possible
- track calculations and insta ban players who calculate with moving heroes
- just check all the reports from players that have led to a ban and add anti-cheat measures to catch such behavior. It shouldn't be harder than playing against bot abusers.

I feel that the players who do not use bots and multi accounts, shouldn't be forced to beg and provide screenshots to be able to play fair game. The game has been up for more than 10 years and surely you receive the same kind of reports over and over again and haven't bothered to tackle it automatically.

Thanks for the spent time :)

I strongly support this!
There are many people who periodically get banned for playing with a bot and continue to play.
On top of that, while they're banned, their science and army continues to train, meaning they don't lose anything during that time.

Also, playing with a bot gives a huge advantage that cannot be covered by a 3 day ban. The player can progress for weeks in attacking ruins or building cities, etc.
In my opinion, there should be stricter measures against such players and more frequent checks, as well as automatic checks by the system!

I strongly hope that a member of the administration will give a competent opinion on the matter.

I agree with all of these fully with an exception to the bolded line.

What exactly do you mean by this? ...Any player who uses the game's calculator while they have heroes moving ... is instantly banned?
Or do you somehow mean they use a third party calculator in which I am unsure how the game would detect this without anti-cheat software running.
Until this line is clarified, I'm afraid it doesn't make much sense to me. (Currently heroes that are moving cannot be included into live calculations.)

It does feel awful and bad that the onus is on players to muster up reports and evidence of other players cheating when it would seemingly be so much easier if the devs ran code or methods to detect them way more efficiently and timely.
Basically the current way says, "Cheating is mostly 'fine'...unless someone puts in enough effort to prove you are." zzzZzzzZZzz Boring.

It means that the bot allows players to calculate the battle results ( with the hero ) while they are attacking. Something that the regular calculator for everyone else cannot do. They are able to calculate if they will still win over assistance or relocated troops. So they are basically always protected against errors unless the other player has used scrolls for misinformation or possibly other tricks :)

Yes, but how does one know someone is calculating with a third-party calculator while their heroes are moving? There's no way to know something like that. :|

No, the bot allows you to calculate your or enemy heroes while they are on the way, by using in-game calculator. Meaning that you can always include your hero into in-game calculator and use it, no matter what.. Not by using third-part calculator..
