i am a fully fledged pay to play member i have paid twice for my black soul gems ( aprox 1300 gems ive gone through now in the space of a week) so you have some idea of how commited i am to the game now, also my addiction, in order to complete everything faster.... im rather impatient,
i am currently looking for a clan, but im hoping for 1 thats already "up there" so to speak........as a newish player i need all the help i can get.the more people in it the better currently my gate remains closed, i intend to do as many quests as i can before i open it ...... i currently have 287 despicable rolphs, and am starting to get some blade votarys.
i intend to play this a lot, am am currently addicted!!! i have the building, i just need some offers, i intend to be online again within the next few hours, but i am currently logging on several times a day
any offers will be reviewed and then i will make my decision, thank you for your consideration

It might make sense to upgrade your rophs and blades before you have too many of them. I have less than a third your number of rophs for example, but my slave rophs can carry so much more than your whole army

Upgrade them then go for the 1,000. It is 1,000 carriers not 1,000 of any particular level of carrier. I have the same quest, but it made far more sense to upgrade my carriers when I had just a hundred of them, so I could carry more - and start splitting my army up into sections, each targetting a different city. I still don't have 1,000 rophs, but I am able to split my army up into six, or seven different forces, each targetting a different city, and still know each force is going to come back with 3k-5k of resources for me.

I've just sent all my carriers against a fortified abandoned city. I know I will lose sixty of them (although hopefully the escorts will take some losses instead), but I'm looking to net 30k of resources, which will more than cover the cost of training sixty more. This is the advantage you get when you upgrade your carriers as soon as possible. They can carry so much more, so your city can develop far faster from the resources they liberate. Plus the fewer carriers you have when you upgrade, the less it costs you to actually upgrade. If you have no units at the time, the cost is actually free.
