My Lands: Black Gem Hunting

I thought the whole definition of allies is that you can do join raids and send help when your ally is being attacked. Most of the time we don't even know our ally is being attack until its over especially when our ally is offline during the attack.

Is it that hard to let us see if our ally or substitute is being attacked in our mission logs like what the clan war marshal gets when his clan mates are being attacked?

There are way how to see that:
Hero - Scout - spell Patrol (reports attacks against Allies)

There is a scroll that copies the above skill. I guess they dont want to make it too easy for us
