if I delete my character from the server,my account with BG is still safe?

I have played the game for a month,and my subscription has just expired.So if I delete my character from the server,and wait for 7 days to start a new game from the same server with the new character of desired race,I will not have to purchase subscription from the beginning right?

no, you wont be able to purchase subscription. The current BG will be lost.
