Worldwide Servers

Having to join a server where the top player has nearly 200 times your army size to attack you with when you reach Suzerain rank is not a way to encourage new players to the game. (Around 7.5 million rating compared to 1.6 billion).

We need new servers occasionally for new players but at the present time there would not be enough interest for a UK one, a suggestion to fix this would be to make new servers available to every region but in their local language so that say uk, spanish, french and german players can play on the same server which increases the available player base to give a chance for new servers to be made available occasionally.

The main problem with this suggestion would be people writing to each other in different languages although the uk server already has a lot of russian players that write in russian so that is already a bit of an issue here. A way to get around this problem would be to allow each player to specify which languages they understand and show little flags for them on there profile and do the same for alliances with the leader specify the language so if somebody is looking for an alliance they can find one which speaks their language, if someone is looking for a mentor or mentee they can just approach someone speaking their language rather than approaching people randomly that may not etc.

I agree with your statement of the problem, though I think that it could be mitigated by increasing the number of ranks, perhaps dividing Suzerain into two or more ranks. The language issue is a real one (and I've found it on every on-line game I've played, I think); without making players pass a test in the server language before they can play, there's little that can be done... Clans can advertise in the Forums for particular language speakers, though the problem there is that the Forums are underused.

A way to post a short in-game description for each clan would be useful, so that things like language requirements could be included. (Individuals can already do that, so that they can include preferred languages for apprentices, for example.)

I just have this Idea,

To minimize those big players taking advantage on their size and strength to pillage small ones, we should take away what they can get out of doing it..

My solution is include the difference in rating when computing for experience or loots.. include it in the formula in such a way that big players will gain lesser experience/loot the smaller the player is compared to them..

I think this would encourage them to take on someone of their size or greater than them rather than killing the smaller ones..

My experiance with some other games, is that everyone can become big and strong. You just need to put in the time, and play well. Keep your army alive, preventing a ninja, keeping it secure and things like that... It is posible, but like I said, you need to spend ALOT of time.
