So i have completed 150 and failed 5/6 quests. This topic is about BG quantity i spent on that quests:

2000? BG Sciences study speed Bonus. The Speaking Machine (i doesn't record cost of this quest, but quests of this type usually costs as many BG as they give Science bonus)

I spent on quests something about 9 400 BG (9 386). The Helmet cost is 100 000 BG. As you can see - you can save great amount of BG, but you stiil will pay quite much.
Also i can say that if you complete that quests faster and get the Suzerain Rank - you will pay less. There was information that if you complete hidden quests - you can pay something about 4 000 BG.

Some of the quests that demand BGs don't have time limits, so you can just ignore them and they won't count against the 150 quests. Still, it's as I'd discovered informally: you can't do the quest without spending quite a bit.

Well, actually I know of players on German server, who did 150 quests spending only 650 bg. but once again - none of the quests are obligatory.

This is possible, especially if that players made hidden quests fast and doesn't visit the Councellor untill they done.
In my case - i doesn't even obtain Suzerain rank. And many high price quests appeared because i spent to much time making other quests.
My calculations are near the high price. You definately can make another - cheaper - quests if you will be more hurry.

I just wanted to report that I have finished this quest. I did spend alot more then was needed. (3x an 1000 bg cityhall upgrade for example, lots of instant construction and science bonuses) I think my actual costs would be somewhere around 4000-5000 bg.

Started playing on 30th september, took a few days till I knew what I was doing + I didn't play 3-4 days because I had to do something else. Failed 3 quests out of the 6, because I didn't need the rewards of those, and I was good on my way.

it is pretty simple. do not click the quest link. if you do not click it, you will still complete quests, and your timed quests will never be activated. yea, it will take a very very long time to do all the normal quests, so hopefully you at least know what they are having a list would for sure help.

This way, you can get your helmet with only spending 0 bg

Hi EndOfTimes:

When you say "don't click the quest link", does it mean the Quest icon at the bottom right corner of the screen or each individual quest link inside the Active Quests? My understanding from your post is the former but I just wish for the later.

Are the timed quests fixed, or any of the quests could be timed? If the timex quest are fixed, could anyone post the information?

I haven't spent any money on this game ... yet. But it's tempting. 100 BG for $2? Who knows ... maybe I will!
