Suggestion of yearly gamers pack

I have noticed after playing the game and talking to a fair few players some who have stopped playing.. which is the reason message and that for a "FREE" game, it requires too much money to have any great deal of success a little is OK but seems to be a lot on the research as you get high and the constant request on quests too it gets a bit too much..

So anyway here's is my suggestion may need tweaking. A package (for gamers) who like to play, don't mind a little money but are not too bothered about taking money (black gems) back out of the game.

The gamers pack or yearly pack consisting of..

Constant subscription on the account for a year (366 days) or for that server (if they delete that server go another the subscription carries over to other server assuming its still within the 1 year period of subscription) I would imagine most people stick to 1 server with his pack anyway.

All Global 7 day services always active (for the year of subscription)

5000 starting black gems and then 1200 each month for 11 months or just 2000 per month starting with 2000

= according to your current costs.

4188 for 366 days subscription
29692 for all global service for 366 days
18200 for (5000 start, 1200 each month) or (just a straight 2000 a month) = 22000

=52080 black gems

$473 worth

do the package at $200 (yes huge discount) however many players will still add more black gems to account and probbaly added alot ebfore they decide to get the package.

and the rule that the player cannot take black gems out of the game whatever is left can only transfer to next server maybe or not!


I appreciate it would take some setting up with he payment system because currently it set so you can take money out with subscription accounts..

However I am 100% sure this kind of package would sell a lot, make you good money, and knowing they can not take the money back out and would appeal to you I am sure? and definitely to many gamers who don't want to keep adding money to a "free game" but enjoy the game more than many other popular free games or games of the same genre.

Again it is another way to attract players which in turn brings in more people spending on your game making it more successful and known.

busier servers would be alot more fun too :)

First - good on you for all the ideas. Don't take this post as a knock against you.

BUT - many of your ideas seem to centre around making the game cheaper. I think maybe you are missing some of the point. If they make it cheaper to play the game, they will have to reduce the rewards available. Everything is linked.

For example, salt lakes pay 20 gems per hour, and can be yours for 12 days straight. This is almost 6000 gems. Some of the 5* and 6* ruins can pay upto 100 gems. Level 7 ruin, as you might have seen, pays alot of gems too (50,000 - unlimited). These are all dependant on the gems coming INTO the game. If everything is cheaper, all these rewards become less.

Everything seems too expensive at the beginning because its a slow build up. Until you get to that level where you are earning these big numbers. You can either put lots of cash in, or build up in the game and make it work for you.

If you think the level you are at now is too expensive, you might be in for a shock when you see the cost of artefacts for heroes and they very upper science levels :shock:

What are the costs? I have seen 250 and 500 so I would assume 1000 maybe 1500 any more and well stupid..

I dont mind paying maybe $30 a week into the game without getting anyhting out, the game it self in terms of action, killing and domiantion is still IMO far more fun than most other types in its genre however it takes far to much money and I am positive if in just over 1 week i have spoken to 3 people who left/leaving becuse of it requiring so much money that many others like myself would think the option above would be great.

means you can compete in wars once built up with most ppl but not put a ton of money in or take any out. besides its not liek the game si that well known or busy and it woudl attract many people the more options you have.

Also having the time to play a game like some people 12+hrs a day is not appealing and I am sure thats probably the only way you will get any worth while gems to get money back after all the money you put in but either way, more options = more customers = more profit and better business anyway. as well as much better game and community bult up.

and if you read that post you would realise that your comment about making the rewards cheaper is null becuse they would't be taking the gems back out of the game . :) that was the whole point of it ^^.. Put less in and take none out and also most of them woudl still buy some more gems here and there to top up as it is not hard to go through 2000 gems a month

would bring a bigger mix of people together having fun IMO, many who are working at it hard to get as many gems as possible to make money or get back what they put in and a bunch of casual gamers or players who just enjoy the game and can't afford to put in alot and are not bothered about taking any out..

30$ a week?
that's 120$+ a month!
A big and well developed game like World of Warcraft costs less than 15$/month.

If you'd start playing WOW instead of MLGame, you could provide clean water to 10 households every month...

if you feel this way then get of this game now LoL the amount of black gems required to level up stuff later ona dn be a competetive player.. sems unreal ^^

Yes 1500 is the most expensive science I have seen but I am not sure what the higher hero level sciences cost.

I think @ $30 a week you should be getting more than enough gems to be competitive! You don't need to buy everything - for example all the 7 days boosts. I don't think these are meant to be an always on feature, unless your rich and want to waste gems. They are for a quick boost if you need them. I used the crop one before when using a 50% troop building acceleration. But I wouldn't pay for it full time, it doesn't really add up. In fact, I don't produce many of my own resources at all. Same for most top players. So those 7 day boosts in your package, would essentially be useless.

I think thats why the a-la-carte system is better for most. Bundling everything might make it seem cheap, but in reality you simply don't need all these services all the time.

After I say all that, I still think some kind of annual package might appeal to some. But I don't know what contents would be best. I am only 4 months into the game myself, so don't know what situations might be like in another 8!

Good thoughts kingkano,

Makes sense about the 7day boosts and the fact at higher level most resource coems from robbing and ruins.

But soem kind of package would suit alot of gamers that liek the style, action of this game, maybe do not have the time others do, or the money, or do not care about taking funds back out of the game.

they are ideas to be worked on :)

This is another reason we need some kind of gamers pack to appeal to another type of gamere who really is not bothered about gems and just like the style and type of play this game offers and can offer. :) it woudl increase numbers on the server IMO ^^ which would be more fun.

" i have exactly the same problem, the last 5 ruins that i found all contained 1 BG.

my theory:

Over the last few weeks, the number of active players has dropped from 4000 to 3000 to 2000.
Only the people who are already very strong keep playing and keep collecting Black Gems.
No income from new players + strong players who keep cashing-out => input of BG in the game has to be decreased drastically. And that's why we only find 1 Black Gem in a ruin ;)

After thinking a bit more and having some constuctive input from KingKano

Subscription Year (value 4188 bgems) cannot take black gems out of this server.!
Science + 25 366 days vaulue (2028)
Merchants -50% 366 days (value 5148)
Architecture any including the top in all 6 cities(value 6000) if they ever get 6 cities ^^
Then 2000 Black gems delivered to account every 30 days after subsciption starting with 3000 (value =22300)

Total value of Black gems =39664 (40kblack gems)

2000 a month can be easily spent on the rest of the 7day bonuse, instant builds, calculator results, renegade,quests, science as you know..
so they would probably still add more in many cases and some might migth not last a year things happen.

the current value of 40,000 black gems is $439 so a good price maybe $180-$200
