Stone Quest

I have a quest to buy stone in the market, but there seems to be no stone for sale in the market ?? Am I doing something wrong ??

Resources are sold by players. If there is no stone on the market, it means that nobody wants to sell it.

The solution I found to this particular problem, was simply to keep upgrading the market. Eventually I was able to reach the stage where my market was reaching far enough afield to find people willing to trade stone. It can take some time and patience though. In the end, I had to upgrade from Market 1/7 to Market 4/7 before I was able to successfully purchase stone.

If your city is in a particularly sparcely populated area, you may find you have to research all the way up to 7/7 before you can purchase stone. Of course in that case, it would likely be much cheaper to research and build a second city closer to civilisation, and trade stone from there.
