Players lev 1-4 and spam on suzerains

#1 Post by Anastasia1_ro »

Seems that some of this players have such much fun spamming on suzerains 24/24 please give the possiblility to suzerains to have fun too with them .. some kind of new rule that could allow as to attack them if they attack us ..let's say ... some sort of punishment for them ..for 36 h from the moment that they start disappointments against suzerains players :))

Or even better yet make spamming slows illegal
Anything over 6 hours should not be allowed

I know multiboxers who have created accounts with the sole purpose of spamming slows.
Some even like to place cities on the opposite sides of the map to make them around 35 hours long

I visioned a 2* yesterday with his mission slots full of slows against all different players. (40/40)

As usual, the topic was opened and no action was taken, not even a reply!

And spams continue to grow. More and more players make intenional mutibox low lvl accounts to keep spams active constantly (yes, there is a visible difference between low lvl spamming and multibox spamming.. but unfortunately nothing that would count as evidence)

And since admins seem to be unable to stop the multiboxers, we would expect they would at least try to counter some of the consequences.. and in fact above suggestion is one that might do that at least a bit. But i guess sensible suggestions should always be ignored.

While I normally lean towards the trivial aspect of little spammers, I've noticed that I'm getting spams from 2 or 3 accounts that (after much consideration I yield they are botting spammers) continually day to day, on the dot, initiate spams on me from long distances with no other interaction with me ever.

While I still find they have not affected me very much, though I did have my hero stunned and camped destroyed by one such spammer, I admit they are gross and rather annoying because I highly value legitimate game-play.

Still -- I am not sure what the solution is without jeopardizing the game-play for the rest of the legitimate players.

@Tejas you do not understand what I write? Or do you read what you want to see?
Because one has expressed ideas at one time, they can never alter?

Rank 1-4 spammers are one thing and should be allowed so long as it is a real player, botters are frowned upon -- because also as I said: I highly value legitimate gameplay.
Someone's friend who is a small player spamming is entirely legitimate.
Botting is not.

It does not change that they have little-to-no effect in the end.

Upon reading the posts you've quoted, I find the ideas are actually still aligned -- my opinion is about botting versus legitimate players. Spamming is an entirely legal play.

BOTs / Multiboxers - whats the difference...? (Don't get all wound up - Answer the question for what it is intended for - in terms of legitimacy)

You jumped the gun again - This time hiding behind - idea altered. :)

You again read what you want to read instead of what I write. Perhaps you have a language barrier to English? If so then I apologize.

Bots are illegal.
Multi-boxing is also illegal, but hard to identify, so very much frowned upon.
[Not sure what this new Multi-boxing fee is I've heard rumor about and if that infers Multi-boxing is technically legal so long as the fee is paid...]

^^^
These are both what you referring to and not what I am referring to.
:::::
This is what I am referring to.
vvv

A player who logs on his own account just to spam at another player's request is legal as long as it is a unique person behind the account.
Example: A Suzerain player has someone else, let's just say his friend who isn't interested in playing the game fully, log onto their own small account and launch a spam attack -- is entirely legal.
So long as the Suzerain player is not the same person who logs into and controls the small player account, for that would be Multi-boxing.

You do not see the difference? :? :|

Which ideas do you refer to?

I believe your post is irrelevant to the thread topic and an attempt to flame.

However if you are referring to the fact that I said I have you ignored, yet responding to your posts, then I presume you've never ignored a player on the forums.
It collapses your posts and I can choose to press to open and see the muted player's post, but otherwise they remain muted and collapsed by default.

Sorry that you have been uninformed. :(

For the records - I am only stating what has been said earlier and what is being said now. What is noteworthy is how the opinion has changed once you are at the receiving end.

The explanation on BOTs / Multiboxing / what is legal / what is not is just a smoke screen to cover up the hypocrisy.
