GOLD CITY (for all races)

#1 Post by jrbello »

did some calculations on my own, it doesn't matter if you are a knight or not you can still have a city producing gold just as effectively in your own home terrain or in the desert depends on your choice: +70% production in desert or the +25 defence on home terrain(have it in mind that you want your gold city well defended)....these are parameters of the calculation: you must have all your villages filled with level 7 trading posts, and 24 level 7 cottages with city architecture of 2800 living places on a level 5 land(or you could study city expansion continuously) and 15 level 7 warehouses(3,375,000) leaving 4 spaces for any kind of building of your choice putting in mind you have defensive buildings(my advice; 2 level 7 magic towers,1 lvl7 fort/lvl 7 mercenary building, market for auction(it holds the most importance))
so this is what i found out;
without trader specialisation: 32 x 0.031= 0.992 which will be multiplied by current population in the city, i am using 14,800(which is 12,000 living places from cottage and 2,800 from architecture change). 14,800 x 0.952=14,682 gold(per hour), 14,682 x 24= 352,368 gold (per day)
with trader specialisation 1; 32 x 0.041= 1.342, 14,800 x 1.342= 19,388 gold (per hour), 19,388 x 24=465,312 gold (per day)
with trader specialisation 2: 32 x 0.051= 1.632, 14,800 x 1.632= 24,154 gold(per hour),24,154 x 24=579,696 (per day)
with trader specialisation 3: 32 x 0.061=1.952, 14,800 x 1.952= 28,890 gold(per hour), 28,890 x 24=693,360(per day)

for the big players who have study alchemy and have up to 32 orange crystal for perfecting all the trading post here is what your gold city might look like:
without trader specialisation: 32 x 0.035=1.12,14,800 x 1.12=16,576 gold(per hour), 16,576 x 24= 397,824 gold(per day)
with trader specialisation 1: 32 x 0.045=1.44,14,800 x 1.44=21,312 gold(per hour), 21,312 x 24= 511,488 gold(per day)
with trader specialisation: 32 x 0.055=1.76, 14,800 x 1.76=26,048 gold(per hour), 26,048 x 24 = 625,152 gold(per day)
with trader specialisation 3: 32 x 0.065=2.08, 14,800 x 2.08=30,784 gold(per hour), 30,784 x 24 = 738,816 gold (per day)
note: don't forget that with building perfection your output is maxed by a 100% and with 32 perfect trading post you have a 22.4% chance of getting 10,000 to 500,000 gold everyday

hope you understand my calculations :geek:

738k gold per day is only equivalent to 2 ruins, so is it really worth it?

Maybe if you also have the gold artifact medallion +500% gold production, also is there a tax office increase artifact?

well that is pretty helpful.... but never done by the big players

i think the truely big players (if they build a gold citty) it would be because they want a slave citty and the gold is just a bonus xD

big players have become territorial, like hydra not allowing anyone in kingdoms 1-(1 to 22) to 20-(1 to 22) farm any lvl 5 and 6 ruins or risk themselves getting zeroed on return, that entire territory is freaking 1/3 of the entire map and its being reserved by only 16 players, so you say thats basically 2 ruins well yeah it is, its a guaranteed 2 ruins everyday that you don't have to fight for.

Ps. i have nothing against hydra because if i was in Ozyr's shoes, i'll be doing the exact same thing. clan mates hold the most priority :D, sorry that my reply took so long, i quit the game and i just rejoined again

There really ought to be another level above suzerain. The biggest players are able to dominate big areas of the board only because they never have to do battle with each other. Just like suzerain can't attack master rank, it should be impossible for these super-strong players to attack the ones who have just advanced to suzerain.

Where is that area? I can't read it.

That's quite scary! I wonder if it's wise to start to play on this server at this stage. Any ideas from others?

Where is the flat gold production in your calculations? Also, where is the Production Technology research ( up to +50% all resource production, including gold ) in your math?
For the king, for the land, for the mountains
For the green valleys where dragons fly
For the glory, the power to win the black lord
I will search for the
Emerald Sword!

i don't have those yet, so i cant add them to my calculations. if not they won't be accurate anymore. :ugeek:

P.s this calculation was done before the update in 2013, so it's a little outdated :(

Heres my take on the Gold city...without calcualtions :)

(Main town)
Knight - Desert teritory - 32 Markets lvl7 - 10 Storages lvl7 - 34 Cottages lvl7 - 2 Normal Towers lvl7 - 5 spots for other things or less, depends on personal taste - Trader Hero lvl12 - Market Spec lvl3 - +25% weekly spell.........cca 70k/hour or 1.7mil a day.

(Other towns)
32 Markets lvl7 - 13 Storages lvl7 - 27 Cottages lvl7 - 2 Normal Towers lvl7 - Market...........cca 50k/hour or 1.2mil a day

note....i dont have 1000 BG main buildings in towns, mostly 200 BG ones.

With all that gold + slaves, is it enough just to have 2 magic towers + mercenaries as defence?

Also, without any merchant guild, how do you transport the gold produced to where you need it? I'm new, so I'm probably missing something obvious.

magic towers + mercs can easily be killed. yes they provide more attack, but 500-1000 demon mercs will wipe your 10k merc defense easy. while with normal towers you have lower but passive dmg.

as for transportation of gold, well i have 2 type of towns...on one account i have one hub town and 5 towns that i move gold from. each of those has 70 traders. this type of towns are good if you are on older server with very high bids, and you can easily collect each day 6-7mil in your hub town and bid on 100+ offers.

the other approach is that each of your towns is for itself, you have certain lvl of storage and when its filled up you bid. its good for mid range offers and on some servers even the 100+ ones.

each has its pros and cons.....on first one you can bid once a day for high offer, win it, pay and wait for next day. problem with it is you need to move gold to your hub town few times a day.
the other option is more casual, eventually all your towns will be filled with gold, but then you have to bid for mid range offers more then once cuz you have 5-6 towns and each is for its own bid and with that you get more competition. you often spread your bids and dynamic of town filling so its not everything in same time thou.
