Very nice touch adding the pictures and story embedded together. I can't stress enough how much these efforts help in bringing a story together.

That said, I agree that there is very little description (or none) of the actual battle.
Perhaps you can one or two more slides before the last one? Seeing your affinity for using pictures to illustrate your story, I can see you making these battle slides interesting!
Also I am curious which magic item you found, perhaps it can be added to the story.
