Destroy ten lvl-3 ruins

I'm trying to finish the "destroy ten level-3 ruins" quest. I used the reward from the previous quest, which gave me five hours of being able to attack ruins below lvl 5 -- but all the lvl-3 ruins were so far away that I failed to destroy ten before the deadline. Is that it, or is there any way for me complete the quest?

Well, I could reduce my level -- but I'm not sure that it's worth it.
