I purchased "Science studying acceleration" service for the Black Gems but it is not working.

The bonus to science studying purchased for the Black Gems is not shown in the Science Window. See it in the Alchemist Labs. Enter any of your Labs and point at the studying speed – in the pop-up window you will see active bonuses including the bonus you purchased for the Black Gems.
